A number of prestigious Australian universities has made it to the list of world top medical schools in the international league table:
- University of Melbourne is the highest ranked institution in Australia in the QS World University Rankings 2010 for Life Sciences and Medicine. The University of Melbourne is ranked 1st nationally and 14th globally for Life Sciences & Medicine, followed by University of Sydney (19th globally) and Australian National University (36th globally). Other Australian universities ranked in the world's top 50 for the subject include: University of Queensland (40th), University of New South Wales (46th), and Monash University (49th).

University of the Philippines College of Medicine (UPCM)
